With over 30 per cent of the population living in remote or regional areas, access to healthcare across distance and geography is an issue that affects millions of Australians. Similarly, with a projected rise in citizens aged over 70 from the current 9.3 per cent to up to 30 per cent by the middle of the century, chronic and aged care will become an increasing burden on the countrys healthcare system.
