Queensland's strength and resilience has been tested like never before as our State continues to rebuild from the unprecedented 2010-11 summer of natural disasters. The Queensland Reconstruction Authority, working closely with local governments and state agencies, has coordinated the State's mammoth reconstruction program. The Authority's Chief Executive Officer, Mr Graeme Newton, will provide an update on the reconstruction program to date and discuss the road ahead in 2012 as the rebuilding program continues.

2:00 A Road Revolution is coming - Airportlink
Airportlink is Australia's largest privately funded transport infrastructure project and is on track to open to motorists mid-2012. When complete, Airportlink will play a key role in building a better Brisbane community by enhancing choice, reducing congestion and transforming the road network.
Airportlink will connect a number of key economic zones and connectors including Brisbane’s northern suburbs, the CBD, the TradeCoast and Brisbane airport, the Clem7, the Inner City Bypass, and via Northern Link in 2014 the southwestern suburbs and Ipswich.
