This range of hands-on post conference workshops will have offer delegates the opportunity to learn directly applicable skills in a small group format involving practical interactive exercises, simulations and one on one mentoring.


Workshop A

9.00 Implementation of the latest tools and innovations to manage fatigue

This practical workshop will use fatigue benchmarking tools to help participants identify how mature their site/operation is in terms of risk-based fatigue management.

Key Outcomes:

1. For each defined stage of maturity, the most effective key initiatives and strategies will be outlined
2. Participants will leave with a roadmap of priorities to support improvements that are tailored to the current and future fatigue management system requirements.

Participants will gain insights into:

  • Clarifying the causes, consequences and historical solutions for workplace fatigue
  • Understanding the critical need to identify system maturity, to tailor solutions that work
  • Why one-size-fits-all solutions for fatigue management don't work, and what will
  • Assessing fatigue technologies – life savers or dangerous gadgets?
  • Incorporating all elements of the risk management cycle to the degree it adds value; and
  • Developing a plan that can provide sustainable, measurable benefits for safety and efficiency
