IIR Conferences 2nd Annual FeTech Conference is well timed to explore the upgrading and beneficiation of lower grade ore for export markets.

Magnetite and other alternative ores - previously thought uneconomic to mine - can make money, with companies studying ways to improve the processing of lower grade magnetite and high impurity ore deposits.

Innovation in the processing of alternative ores is to be a major focus of FeTech 2010, with approaches to high phosphorus ore, access to infrastructure, pricing projections and company updates also a major part of the agenda.
