IIR's Resources & Regions is a Queensland based, nationally focused forum that will address the role of the resources industry in sustainable regional development. We will look at ways to better develop regions in partnership with industry – including supporting infrastructure considerations. We will also examine strategies for making the most of the opportunities provided by the resources sector in delivering prosperity to the communities that they exist in - in terms of trickle down effects of job creation and shared wealth.
