IIR Conferences' Australian mining industry events are held right across the country, from Brisbane and Perth to regional mining centres covered in our Regional Mining Series, which covers mining exploration and extraction, economic, infrastructure, accommodation and personnel issues. This series of mining conferences includes events held in Port Hedland; Gladstone; Townsville; Orange; Darwin; Mount Isa; Fremantle; Kalgoorlie; & Broome.
Our Operational Excellence Series of mining events provide key networking and learning forums for the mining industry. Annual events include the Longwall Mining Conference, held in the Hunter Valley. The Modular Construction & Pre-Assembled Fabrication Conference is Australia's only event dedicated to discussing the engineering, manufacturing, production and transportation of Pre Assembled Modules. The Mine Tailings & Environmental Management conference focuses on finding cost effective, environmentally progressive, and safe tailings solutions. The Bulk Materials Handling conference deals with the core bulk handling issues of relevance to the mining industry. The UnderMINE conference will focus on the current developments and economics of going underground. The Coal Tech conference is the complete guide to the latest project advances and R&D developments in coal technology.
IIR Conferences organise the Gas Series of gas conferences. The flagship event is SEAAOC (South East Asia Australia Offshore Conference), Northern Australia's largest and longest established petroleum conference, held in partnership with the Northern Territory Government and attracting over 600 attendees. Conferences also cover Coal Seam Gas (CSG) technologies, such as the well established annual conference the National CSG Summit; the CSG Drilling & Completions Conference; the Coal Seam Water (CSW) Conference. Other gas conferences include the Shale Gas Briefing; and the Queensland LNG Conference in Brisbane. Our Gladstone Resources Industry Conference will also look at the LNG and CSG projects underway in the region.
