The conference brought about a mix of speakers from the government and international speakers ie the Attorney-General Robert McClelland, AFP Commissioner Mick Keelty, United Nations' Howard Stoffer and BAA Glasgow Airport's Gillies Crichton to name a few.
The conference broadened the definition of national security discussing recovery from natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina and the recent bushfires in Melbourne. Government representatives also brought everyone up to speed about the latest government's efforts in battling and preventing terrorism.
