Longwall

Longwall 2011 celebrated 10 years of Longwall excellence and industry interaction, with the event attracting over 2500 attendees, 200 exhibitors and 250 speakers since 2002. The conference addressed industry developments and explored the new and emerging technologies and tools of the trade. The program included a new technology fly through session, offering concise updates on new technology developments from the major OEMs. Complementing the conference agenda again this year was the grand Longwall Exhibition which housed 30 stands. The popular social program was also back with something for everyone and featured a NEW and unique pre-conference welcome reception.

Longwall 2010 attracted more than 200 attendees and sold out sponsor and exhibition space.

The 8th Annual Longwall conference and Golf Day 2009 were both held in new venues this year, the Crowne Plaza and The Vintage in the Hunter Valley, attracting over 200 industry participants who commenced their Longwall 2009 experience with Golf Day 2009 (sponsored by BIS Industrial Logistics), followed by a 2-day conference syncopated with networking breaks at the exhibition hall with exhibitors and peers, and topping the experience off with the official conference dinner (sponsored by Joy Mining Machinery).

Many topics were discussed at Longwall 2008 as hundreds gathered for the event to debate and keep updated with the latest issues and happenings in the industry and network with their peers.
